Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Garima
Project Garima was an ambitious project aimed at sensitization toward the plight of men and women who became prey to the witch-hunt-related violence, ostracization, and discrimination in the tribal state of Jharkhand, India.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ayush Sharma is a 2nd-year student at the National University Of Study And Research In Law (NUSRL), he was born and brought up in a tribal region of Bastar District of Chhattisgarh and came to the city of Ranchi Jharkhand to study BA.LLB from NUSRL since he was born and got the experiences of the social world he is very inclined towards serving society, especially the tribal people, when he came to Jharkhand he saw the prevalent issue of witch hunting which was also a problem in his hometown so he became very passionate about promoting the awareness regarding witch hunting and its impact on the society and culture of tribal people.
He believes that being selected as a Millennium Fellow is a giant stride toward the achievement of his goal, the platform will provide him with a global stage from where he can plant the sapling of change in society since bringing change in society is the only motivation for him to do more.
