Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Garima
Project Garima was an ambitious project aimed at sensitization toward the plight of men and women who became prey to the witch-hunt-related violence, ostracization, and discrimination in the tribal state of Jharkhand, India.
About the Millennium Fellow
Neelanshu Kashyap is a law student at the National University of Study and Research in Law in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. Hailing from the tribal state of Jharkhand, Neel is passionate about solving societal problems through social actions. Coming from a very small town, he understands how a lack of education negatively affects one’s potential. Through his project, he hopes to help the region become more literate and socially aware. He believes that being selected as a Millennium Fellow is a significant step toward achieving his goal.
