Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Garima

Project Garima was an ambitious project aimed at sensitization toward the plight of men and women who became prey to the witch-hunt-related violence, ostracization, and discrimination in the tribal state of Jharkhand, India.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ratnadeep Dey is a second-year student at the National University of Study and Research in Law, pursuing a BA LLB degree. Hailing from the tribal state of Jharkhand, Ratnadeep possesses a deep passion for the study of law and is dedicated to bringing about positive change for the underprivileged segments of society by advocating for justice and equity. Currently, Ratnadeep is actively involved in the "Project Garima" as part of the UN Millennium Fellowship. This project is focused on addressing the tragic practice of witchcraft prevalent among the tribal communities in the state.
