Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Vidya Shakti (Empowering Education for Tribal Girls)

Project Vidya Shakti is a transformative 6-month initiative operating under the United Nations Millennium Fellowship. The project is centered on addressing the high middle school dropout rates among tribal girls in Jharkhand, India. The multifaceted approach involves tackling key barriers to education, including poverty, cultural norms, and the absence of role models. Through financial support, changes in cultural norms, provision of role models, and offering academic and life skills support, Vidya Shakti aims to create sustainable interventions that empower these young girls and enhance their access to education.

About the Millennium Fellow

Shubham Kumar a student studying in National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi. In the growing technological phase the life of the people has been so bussy that hardly they contribute to the society. He as a student wants to bring change not only infrastructural or physical change but the change from within. this idea is associated with the Place I belong which teaches us the whole world is our family and even single member of the family is lagging of something it is the responsibility of the other members that they should take the charge and contribute in a positive manner.
