Millennium Fellowship Project: ECO-SUSTAIN

The project is about integrating technology to create compost from organic waste by designing smart composters that will use technology to identify the waste and convert in into useful compost.

About the Millennium Fellow

Nija Asif is a junior year student pursuing Mechatronics Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan. Hailing from Baluchistan, she carries a deep passion for addressing disparities. Her goal is to utilize engineering solutions in shaping a world that's fair, ensuring every child can flourish without the burdens of poverty and hunger. With her leadership skills, she is leading innovative projects aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), garnering recognition for their significant societal influence. Nija's aspiration is to be a catalyst in guiding the world toward a sustainable future.
