Millennium Fellowship Project: Give & Grow
Our project, "Give & Grow," aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, focusing on introducing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), specifically robotics, to underprivileged students at Khalida Iqbal Free Education School. Through workshops and a mentorship program, we guided students in creating Line Follower Robots for a race, culminating in their successful participation in the National Engineering Robotics Contest 2023. The students not only reached the semi-finals but also received the Akhtar Nawaz Spirit Award for their exceptional dedication to robotics. Our initiative aims to inspire a passion for STEM fields, instilling valuable skills and confidence, and we plan to expand our efforts to reach more schools and communities, fostering inclusivity and diversity in STEM education. The project budget covered essential resources, materials, and transportation for the students, contributing to a brighter future for these aspiring young minds.
