Millennium Fellowship Project: EduChange

My project aims to improve the quality of education in Pakistan by addressing key issues such as rote learning, outdated curriculum, and lack of career counseling. We want to work towards developing a national education policy that outlines long-term goals and strategies for improving education. Our goal is to establish an independent body that monitors and evaluates the implementation of education policies to ensure that they are being implemented effectively and efficiently. Ultimately, we want to create a more just and equitable education system that provides quality education to all students in Pakistan.

About the Millennium Fellow

Taimoor Amin is a junior mechanical engineering student at NUST in Islamabad, Pakistan. He is passionate about transforming the human impact on the environment into a positive force to preserve our natural surroundings. Hailing from South Punjab, he has witnessed the disregard people often show towards their environment, observed in their casual disposal of waste and lack of awareness about its environmental consequences. Taimoor's entire project is centered around addressing this concern. He is also a part of SGD Youth Club on campus. Following his graduation, Taimoor intends to pursue a master's degree in aerial robotics and aerospace engineering.
