About the Millennium Fellow
Touqeer Zia, a Mechanical Engineering student at Pakistan National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Rawalpindi Campus, is a passionate Pashtun committed to making a positive impact on society. He actively contributes to the Pakistan Science Foundation, conducting research in the vital field of rainwater harvesting. Touqeer firmly believes that individual efforts can bring about significant change and has dedicated himself to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6.1, working tirelessly to ensure clean drinking water accessibility. He enthusiastically collaborates with like-minded individuals who share his dedication to this SDG. In his leisure time, Touqeer indulges his love for playing cards, showcasing his diverse interests and hobbies.
