Millennium Fellowship Project: The empower her :Breaking gender barriers

The empower her: breaking gender barriers project aims to advance gender equality by addressing social and systematic barriers faced by women and girls. Through education, empowerment and advocacy, the project seeks to challenge gender norms and stereotypes, promote women's rights and create a more inclusive society where all individuals have equal opportunities to thrive.

About the Millennium Fellow

Anesu Hazel Masocha, a 20 year old pursuing a degree in library and information science at NUST, is driven by a passion for social activities and helping others within her community. With a penchant for writing and reading, Anesu finds solace in the power of words. Her ultimate goal is to create a positive impact in people's lives, utilizing her skills and knowledge in library sciences. Guided by the philosophical "KNOWLEDGE IS A TOOL FOR GROWTH", Anesu firmly believes in the transformative power of education and its ability to empower individuals and communities alike.
