Millennium Fellowship Project: ANTI DRUGS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE INITIATIVE
The anti-drug and substance abuse initiative is a non-political, students -led non-profit making movement that is welfare oriented. We aimed on Capacity strengthening and empowering young people in Zimbabwe through advocacy for social change, civil society and institutional capacity development and community engagement livelihood projects, for them to realize their identity and full potential to become self-sustaining young people focused on self and economic development. We are also aimed at creating a friendly and conducive environment for young people and capacitating and promoting the wellbeing of people living with disabilities and the marginalized population in Zimbabwe. Key to all this is the elimination of drug and substance abuse at Nust and places all around.
About the Millennium Fellow
Deliverance Chiripanyanga is a 21 year old university student currently studying Quantity surveying in Zimbabwe at the National University of Science and technology.
Deliverance is a concerned youth willing to make a change in his community and part of larger organisations that can bring about this change.
Deliverance is pursuing a change in youth behaviour and seeks to empower the society for change even in peer education
The latter is also part of leadership groups as the toastmasters international to bring about such required qualities.
Born in the year 2002, Deliverance is a citizen of Zimbabwe and of the African race.
