Millennium Fellowship Project: ENHANCED SOLAR AND RENEWABLE ENERGY
This project aims to address energy poverty by developing a system that optimizes the performance of existing solar by using efficient ways of collecting solar energy.
The methodology for this project consists of two parts: (1) improving the efficiency of existing solar panels by using reflective materials to concentrate sunlight on the panels, and (2) researching and developing cheaper alternative materials for use in solar cells. The first part of the project will involve testing different reflective materials, such as aluminum foil, to determine which one provides the most efficient concentration of sunlight on the solar panels.
