Millennium Fellowship Project: Helping The Streets Foundation Project

This project is committed to targeting SDG 1(No poverty) and SDG 4(Quality Education) extending assistance and resources to those in need, including families grappling with poverty, individuals lacking access to education, and those experiencing homelessness.

Our mission involves aiding 50-100 impoverished families by offering resources and support to kickstart their businesses through entrepreneurship and technology. Simultaneously, we aspire to furnish learning materials such as books and educational resources to empower their children, enabling them to unlock their full potential and realize their aspirations.

We realized that there is a specific link between SDG 1 and SDG 4 because illiteracy is often considered a factor contributing to poverty. We then discovered poor families' challenges in ensuring their children are educated. The cost is a big factor and if these children do not get a great education, then it becomes a pandemic.

As regards our project, we visited a school around our community to support these children with their educational needs.
