About the Millennium Fellow
Barnabas Jojolola is a final year microbiology student at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Barnabas is dedicated towards ensuring that people in rural areas have equal access to proper education and opportunities. He believes that right (youth) leadership development initiatives will in turn lead to the growth of the Nation (and benefit the human race). Through his project, he aims to provide the youths in rural areas with the foundational information needed to break the barriers created through their geographical location towards excelling in their chosen field. This is an initiative he plans to keep working on after graduation. He finds delight in making the world a better place and he understands that it starts with individual development.
