Millennium Fellowship Project: SDGs Awareness Week
SDGs Awareness Week is a project of Fellows in Cohort A of Obafemi Awolowo University that addresses the low level of awareness about Sustainable Development Goals on the Campus and Ile-Ife in general. The project aims to engage undergraduates on Campus and Secondary school students on conversations and discussion to enlighten them to see their place in meeting the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030. Our strategies include Campus awareness rally, Secondary school sensitization, Webinar and Market Medical Outreach.
The goals of the project include
-To stimulate the interest of undergraduates on OAU Campus in social impact work
-To enlighten the Secondary school students on SDGs
- To aid quality education through distribution of learning materials to secondary school students
-To increase knowledge of and enrollment in Millennium Fellowship on our Campus especially outside of College of Health Sciences
- To promote good health and wellness of resident of Ile-Ife through a Market Medical Outreach.
About the Millennium Fellow
Olamilekan is a motivated student of real estate studies who is passionate about professional practice and social impact. Skilled in data analytics and copywriting. His vision is to contribute appreciably to bridging the gap between the academia and industry in real estate profession through real estate advisory and consultancy, research and teaching in academia. In the social impact space, he is an advocate of SDG 4 – QUALITY EDUCATION
