Millennium Fellowship Project: Khwaab
Khwaab (Dream) is a project we have undertaken to encourage children to dream for themselves and recognize their attainability. Our focus group is children from the 8th grade at Government Model Sanskriti Primary and Middle School, Model Town, Sonipat. We wish to work with young students who lack the foundational support to cultivate their ability to fulfill their aspirations. We will be conducting 6 sessions pertaining to their capacity building. Providing them with a thorough education will facilitate the children's individual development and enable them to uplift their familial circumstances and influence those in their vicinity.
The word 'Khwaab' means 'Dream'. A dream is a goal, a vision of the future self. When one knows their destination, it becomes easier to find their path. But when the destination is unknown, when there is no dream to chase, the path becomes unclear and one gets lost.
This journey includes acquiring skills, crossing milestones, honing one's strengths, gathering the required resources, and drawing a roadmap to fulfill the dream. An understanding of the roadmap can pave the way to a successful future.
We aim to organize a life skills training program encompassing goal setting, decision-making, problem-solving, self-awareness, time management, and financial management. This holistic training is designed to empower young minds in fulfilling their 'Khwaab'.
