Millennium Fellowship Project: Drug Abuse
To evaluate reasons for venturing into the act, to educate our targets on the dangers and social implications and to curb the act to the lowest
The project will help to educate the students on and off campus and community,to create awareness on dangers of substances abuse in different areas e.g physical, emotional, economic areas,will work with the university counseling center to help counseling, monitoring and evaluating the each victims till they overcome their challenges leading to substances abuse.
About the Millennium Fellow
Balogun Favour is a Public Health student of Osun State University, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Favour is passionate about people, the youth mostly, hence her project topic(drug abuse) how youths can avoid long lasting problems for themselves and be of benefit to themselves and the society. Through her project, she hopes to help the youth be better for themselves and reduce drug use and abuse effects drastically. After she graduates, Favour plans to earn a master's degree in Biostatistics.
