Millennium Fellowship Project: Rescue A Dying Soul
The project focuses on mental health awareness in universities and secondary schools. It will be achieved through multiple outreaches to the various campuses in my school and secondary schools in the vicinity of Osogbo, Osun State. There will also be communiy visits, seminars, public talks, and short presentations at assemblies to raise awareness about mental health and its impact on the society.
About the Millennium Fellow
John Adedeji is a fourth year medical student at Osun State University, Osogbo Campus, Nigeria. As a medical student, much of his work focuses on improving patients' lives through evidence-based science and pragmatic art. He is passionate about mental health and helping to alleviate all its ills. Through his project, he hopes to help his school and surrounding secondary schools become psychologically safe. After he graduates, he hopes to work in the healthcare and finance industry.
