Millennium Fellowship Project: WellBe: LLM-Powered Mental Health Ally
The chatbot project aligns with the SDGs, particularly SDG 3, by leveraging technology to bridge the mental health treatment gap and reach marginalized populations. Psychoeducation integrated into the chatbot provides valuable information and aligns with SDG 3's target of increasing health financing and workforce development. Recognizing mental health as integral to overall well-being, the project addresses stigma and limited access to services, contributing to SDG 3's target of ensuring healthy lives for all. The chatbot, designed with empathy and available 24/7, offers immediate support, aligning with SDG 3's target to reduce global mortality rates. Overall, the project embodies a holistic approach to achieving SDG 3, prioritizing mental health and well-being worldwide.
