Millennium Fellowship Project: Subh e Noo

"Subh-e-Noo" means morning of hope, a fresh start. This project is meant to revive hope and compassion among the society, specially youth.
It's an initiative comprising of multiple projects from different domains spanning from child domestic labor, Animal Welfare, to environmental impact, health and well-being and human rights.

SDGs Targeted thought out the project:

SDG 3: Good health and well-being
SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth
SDG 15: Life on Land

It would be collaborative with an activism based student society from my campus to work on relevant SDGs to execute projects bringing positive impact in lives of people in my community and around the world.
The projects include:
• Visit to an Animal Shelter to raise awareness regarding animal rights, responsible pet ownership and inspire compassion for animals.
• Attending Conference on Child Domestic Labor, having law makers, lawyers, journalists, religious scholars, law enforcement agencies and many other departments to bring forward meaningful agenda to counter this issue and take proactive steps.
• Arranging Blood donation Camp in my University Campus to promote sense of empathy and selflessness, moreover spreading awareness on the benefits of donating blood.

About the Millennium Fellow

Faiqa Ijaz is a final-year Mechanical Engineering student at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Her fervor for renewable energy fuels her academic journey. Beyond engineering, she delves into fashion, Urdu literature, and crafts. With a heart for the less fortunate, Faiqa's altruism echoes her belief in spreading happiness. An athlete and cricket enthusiast, she embodies a harmonious blend of intellectual prowess and physical vigor, encapsulating a modern Renaissance spirit dedicated to innovation, creativity, and compassionate impact.
