Millennium Fellowship Project: Recycling and playing
The project that seeks to focus on teaching public school children ways to create sports equipment with recycled elements. In this way, children will be able to play with recycled elements that they can make
and thus promote sports and recycling. Likewise, this initiative could be replicated in rural schools where there is no sports equipment.
About the Millennium Fellow
Camila Salazar is a student of political science at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima, Perú. Camila is passionate about public policies and their impact on society. Also, she likes topics related to the environment and the well-being of vulnerable populations. Through her project, she hopes to help the region. After she graduates, Cami plans to study at the diplomatic academy of Peru and work in a field related to foreign policy and contribute to public policy.
