Millennium Fellowship Project: BK2

The primary goal of "Proyecto BK2" is to reduce the educational disparity between students from private and public schools by simplifying the scholarship application process for undergraduate studies. In Peru, there is a widespread misconception that higher education is only within reach for those with financial means. Scholarships serve as a crucial avenue for economically disadvantaged youth to pursue advanced studies. Unfortunately, information about available scholarships, whether from the Peruvian government or private organizations, is often scant and known to only a select few. This lack of awareness prevents many deserving individuals from seizing these opportunities.

Furthermore, a common challenge is that some students interested in applying for scholarships may abandon the process due to perceived complexities. Additionally, a recurring issue involves students meeting all the eligibility criteria for a scholarship but failing to secure it due to application errors. These errors, ranging from incorrect documentation formats to missed submission deadlines, are all too common and could be prevented with the guidance of knowledgeable counselors.
