Millennium Fellowship Project: Club Connect
Club Connect's goal is to create an inclusive campus environment where those with disabilities feel seen and heard, while providing a platform for advocacy on their behalf, contributing to the reduction of inequalities in education.
About the Millennium Fellow
Alexis Pickering is an industrious political science full-time scholar pursuing a pre-law trajectory within Pace University's esteemed Honors College. Driven by an unwavering commitment to advancing social parity, she has channeled her energy into championing enhanced educational opportunities for individuals with special needs. Simultaneously, her aspirations extend to becoming a Guardian Aid Litem. Throughout her academic career, Alexis emerges as an engaged and dedicated learner, fulfilling roles as a Resident Assistant and Incoming Student Director for Pace's Honors Board. Beyond academia, she took the initiative to establish the first organization in the greater Rochester vicinity, dedicated to enriching learning experiences for those with diverse abilities. Alexis Pickering's empathy-fueled determination fuels her pursuit of creating a lasting influence through her advocacy for comprehensive education and her diverse aspirations.
