Millennium Fellowship Project: Custom Care
I want this to be a program in which in certain, safe areas people can connect with those in poverty to help them apply for jobs that can help them get back on their feet, or even just talk to someone about their situation. They can even receive a sort of "care package" including hygiene resources, water, sanitary products, or snacks. Talking to someone and being treated like a person who has potential can help boost their mental health and give them hope for opportunities in the future.
About the Millennium Fellow
Marianna Visbal is a sophomore political science and marketing student at Pace University in New York City, NY. Marianna is passionate about the impact of technology and marketing on the political field and how this can be used to help understand the intricate intersections between the two. She hopes to use both fields to help create an impact using politics to impact others and the world around her.
