Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Wellness at Pace University
Working with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Mental Wellness at Pace University is targeted to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Faculty and staff over Pace Pleasantville's campus should be familiar with common verbiage and warning signs regarding mental health and suicide. Students should know what resources are available to them before they are feeling hopeless and alone, and should know who to contact. There is a large stigma surrounding mental health and suicide, still, and Mental Wellness at Pace is to create a conversation that will reduce that stigma on campus.
