Millennium Fellowship Project: The Nourish Project

The Nourish Project aims to combat food insecurity within college communities. The project aspires to provide nourishing food sources to students on campus by collaborating with the on-campus food pantry and introducing healthy cooking lessons on a college budget.

About the Millennium Fellow

Pamela-Rayëlle Barais is a Junior Political Science Major at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY, USA . After doing an advocacy assignment for a class, Pamela-Rayëlle was impacted by the issue of food insecurity. Through her project, she hopes to combat food insecurity within college communities by collaborating with the on-campus food pantry and offering healthy cooking lessons to students. After she graduates, Pamela-Rayëlle plans to go to law school to become a criminal defense attorney and advocate for people of color.
