Millennium Fellowship Project: Project TABOO: Talking About the Basics Out and Open

Project TABOO centres around making school children equipped with recognising abuse, tackling self-harm with alternative means of expressing aggression, and reaching out to the correct people for help. It will also sensitise teachers so as to be able to guide children that reach out. This aspect of TABOO will be worked on in Patiala and Amritsar.
The second objective of the project is to ensure an adequate number and types of mental health professionals for the university students so that taking therapy in university is not a pipedream for the financially weak or busy. Further, it wants to found a support group for addicts who want to leave substance abuse with a proper moderator is also a goal so as to make the campus truly addiction free.
