Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Watch Initiative
Legal Watch Initiative aims to aware illiterate, oppressed and marginalised people including women, old age people, daily wage earner and victims about their legal and fundamental rights, government policies and initiatives of various of social groups and NGOs, so that these people can avail benefits out of it and become aware of their rights. Under this initiative, we will organise workshops and legal advice in near villages. Target groups will be informed about their rights, procedure to apply for various government schemes and legal education.
About the Millennium Fellow
Manya Narang is a student of 2nd year pursuing B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. She is inerested in creating a legal awarness as well as legal impact in society which is one the reasons she choose to pursue law. Her millenium project is also somewhat similar about creating legal awarness amongst underprivileged.
