Millennium Fellowship Project: Project 51 A(g)

- Advancing Animal Rights: Project 51A (g) is a Millennium Fellowship initiative aimed at promoting animal welfare and addressing animal cruelty complaints in India.
- Online Repository & Physical Center: The project is developing an online platform for collaboration and information sharing, and establishing a physical center at RGNUL to symbolize its commitment to animal rights.
- Community Engagement: A survey in Patiala is being conducted to understand local perspectives on animal rights, ensuring the project's actions are informed and relevant.
- Collaborations & Academic Endeavors: Strategic partnerships with animal rights organizations and academic contributions, such as a jurisprudential paper and guest lectures, are key components of the project's approach.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mohit Gaur, a law student at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, brings his roots from the Gangetic plains of Western Uttar Pradesh. Embracing a utilitarian centrist stance, he channels AI for societal betterment while ardently advancing the cause of animal rights. With an unwavering commitment, Mohit aspires to shape India's policymaking landscape for the greater good.
