Millennium Fellowship Project: Spearheading Sustainability and Climate Change Literacy
In the face of global challenges such as climate change and inequality, it has become imperative for universities to equip their students with the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development. The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a framework to address these issues. This proposed project seeks to lead the way in enhancing sustainability literacy within Riara University and its local community to actively contribute to achieving the SDGs.
About the Millennium Fellow
Charlton Epiché Otundo is a dedicated student at Riara University, Kenya, currently pursuing a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. Hailing from Kenya, Charlton is a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability, humanitarian causes, and equality. With a profound interest in human development, Charlton focuses on community education and training, actively engaging in areas of community work. Their unwavering passion drives them to create transformative change through increased access to information, fostering partnerships with grassroots organizations, and collaborating with local institutions.
