Millennium Fellowship Project: Social impact

developing a community-based mental health initiative that utilizes technology to increase accessibility and support. Creating a mobile app that connects individuals facing mental health challenges with trained peer mentors, offering a platform for anonymous discussions, resources, and coping strategies. Implement features like mood tracking, virtual support groups, and curated content. Collaborating with mental health professionals to ensure the app adheres to ethical guidelines and promotes well-being. By addressing mental health issues and fostering a supportive community, this project aims to make a positive social impact by enhancing mental health awareness and providing accessible support to those in need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Samiya Khan is a student of international relations and diplomacy at Riara university. Driven by her keen interest in making a difference in the world through seemingly small but overall, significant contributions, she hopes to make tomorrow a better place. She strives to continue to inspire individuals and communities alike to take meaningful steps towards a greener future, leaving an indelible mark on the fight against climate change.
