Millennium Fellowship Project: Hopeland-algae
The Hopeland -Algae is a project aimed for empowering the small livestock farmers with sustainable and affordable feed using azolla and other algae species, training farmers and monitoring their progress towards sustainable farming.
About the Millennium Fellow
Byiringiro Hope, an undergraduate scholar at the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture, is a specialist in conservation agriculture with over 5 years of experience in animal production systems and veterinary services. He is dedicated to advancing pioneering strategies aimed at addressing food insecurity and environmental degradation. This commitment drives his exploration of sustainable, eco-friendly innovations and integration of One Health principles. During his free time, he takes pleasure in discovering novel farming techniques and contributing to contemporary farms through volunteer work, underscoring his strong community-oriented dedication.
