Millennium Fellowship Project: Project BODHI

Promoting Quality Education at the ground level requires sustained effort and commitment. My project aims to provide Quality Education by contributing in various ways. My team would be collaborating with local organizations as I believe they would provide valuable insights and support in implementing my project as they work to improve access to education, such as after- school programs, tutoring service, or literacy initiatives. This will give us an opportunity to work directly with students and help them develop the skills they need to succeed. Secondly, we have planned to start a student- led initiative in our campus. This would involve organizing workshops or seminars on topics such as critical thinking, study skills, or career development. Thirdly, we have planned to participate in community outreach programs that provide opportunity for us to work with local schools and community organizations. Also we would be engaging in advocacy efforts to promote policies and practices that improve access, equity, and quality in education. This could include writing letters to policymakers, organizing protests or rallies, or visiting nearby slums and villages to promote quality education so that people send their children to our campus for getting quality education, or working with local advocacy groups. We would also be offering services such as mentorship program for students who might be struggling academically or facing other challenges. We have also planned to organize fundraising events to raise funds for schools and organizations that work towards access to education. This would also involve organizing charity drives, donation campaigns, or selling merchandise. For monitoring and evaluation of the project we would be conducting research and analysis in nearby villages and slums on the barriers that hinder quality education and propose solutions to address these challenges. This would involve conducting surveys, and presenting our findings to policymakers.
