Millennium Fellowship Project: Revive: Practicing Net-Zero Waste
Revive: Practising Net-zero waste is a collaborative initiative by students of Sai university designed to foster sustainability within the academic community. The project aims to address and mitigate the environmental impact of waste generated on campus by implementing innovative waste reduction and recycling strategies. Through comprehensive research and analysis, we seek to identify areas of improvement in current waste management practices and propose sustainable alternatives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Abhishek Vijay is a computer science and economics student at Sai University in Chennai, India. He is passionate about creating and developing sustainable workplaces across his town. He has started with his university, where he has developed and implemented a plan to make the campus more sustainable. Abhishek's plan includes initiatives such as installing solar panels, reducing energy consumption, and recycling waste. He is also working to educate his fellow students and faculty about sustainability.
Abhishek is a motivated and dedicated young leader with a strong commitment to sustainability. He is a talented computer scientist and economist with a keen interest in the intersection of technology and sustainability. He is also a skilled communicator and advocate for sustainability.
