Millennium Fellowship Project: Revive: Practising Net-Zero waste

Revive: Practising Net-zero waste is a collaborative initiative by students of Sai university designed to foster sustainability within the academic community. The project aims to address and mitigate the environmental impact of waste generated on campus by implementing innovative waste reduction and recycling strategies. Through comprehensive research and analysis, we seek to identify areas of improvement in current waste management practices and propose sustainable alternatives.

About the Millennium Fellow

Nandita Narayanan is an undergraduate student who is working towards a degree in biology at Sai University, Chennai. She is passionate about environmental conservation and has learned a lot regarding this field through her volunteering experience at environmental organisations such as the Student Sea Turtle Conservation Network (SSTCN). Here, she picked up on the urgent need to conserve and raise awareness regarding these topics through first-hand experience and contact with essential frontline workers in this field. She is committed to propagating sustainable practices in her community such that she can contribute to bringing about a greener future.
