Millennium Fellowship Project: Revive: Practicing Net-Zero Waste
Revive: Practising Net-zero waste is a collaborative initiative by students of Sai university designed to foster sustainability within the academic community. The project aims to address and mitigate the environmental impact of waste generated on campus by implementing innovative waste reduction and recycling strategies. Through comprehensive research and analysis, we seek to identify areas of improvement in current waste management practices and propose sustainable alternatives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Having witnessed the inefficacies of policy implementation both within his village and across the nation, Rishikesh became a firm adherent to technology's capacity for resolution. This conviction, coupled with his profound affinity for science, propelled him towards pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at Chennai's Sai University. Collaborating with his peers, he's immersed in rectifying the pressing issue of waste management. His vision entails utilizing technology to cultivate partnerships among stakeholders, thereby fostering mutual gains. With aspirations of entrepreneurship, he seeks to harness his knowledge and leadership prowess to dispel the void of hope that pervades society.
