Millennium Fellowship Project: Eco-revive: A Green Tomorrow
"EcoRevive: A Green Tomorrow" is a visionary climate action project aimed at driving positive environmental change within local communities. Through a series of engaging initiatives, educational workshops, and sustainable initiatives, this project aims to raise awareness about climate change and empower individuals to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. By fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment, the project seeks to create a lasting impact that contributes to a more sustainable future.
Goals (August-December 2023):
• Host a minimum of 3 Virtual Community Workshops on climate change awareness and sustainable living practices, reaching a total of 150 participants.
• Establish a local tree-planting campaign, with the goal of planting maximum trees in designated areas within the community in collaboration with different societies at our University.
• Collaborate with local schools to raise awareness on environmental conservation, reaching at least 2 schools and 500 students.
• Reduce community plastic waste by initiating a plastic recycling and use reduction awareness camps.
These measurable goals will ensure our project's impact and help track our progress towards creating a more sustainable and eco-conscious community. Hoping for the best!
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Zouhaib Yousuf, I am 21 years old living in Sargodha, I am a student of Bachelor Bussiness Administration apart from that I am also FOC doing volunteer work at Lincoln Corner Sargodha Pakistan for the past 3 months. In the spare time I like to read books, recently I was reading "why A class students work for C class students and b class students work for government and I do watch movies based on action, thriller, drama, comedy and suspense. For my strengths I am self motivated and persistent, weakness are summon as emotionally weak, straightforward and fearful of public speaking sometimes.
