Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Chaitanya
The main aim of this project is to spread awareness among childer and women. Indian culture shows that inside every child there exist a god and women are worshipped, but the incidents of violence could be seen regularly in our society. The act of violence on women is heart breaking. Indian constitution makers kept had a dream to make India a society which would be equal for everyone and no one would be treated or suffer violence. But this aim hasn't be achieved yet. Everyone has to contribute on their behalves to achieve this goal. Thinking this in mind we started a this project with am aim to spread awareness among the people because we believed the best person to fight for someone's right is that person himself. The only thing they lack is awareness.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tarishi Verma is a law student studying in Symbiosis Laws School, NOIDA. Passionated, dedicated, Tarishi believes in making positive social impact in her surroundings and beyond. Apart from this, she stands tall as a committed leader and a self-motivated changemaker. She is kind, understands the needs and feelings of others. Through her project, she hopes to make the world more welcoming, educate people about their rights, and make sure that every person's voice is heard. She is adamant that everyone is deserving of respect and fair treatment. She loves helping people because that fills her with happiness.
