Millennium Fellowship Project: PlantScape

PlantScape is a mobile application aimed at transforming the Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering into a living laboratory for biodiversity. With its innovative features and user-friendly interface, PlantScape aims to catalogue the rich biodiversity of the campus flora, foster a community of eco-conscious individuals, and serve as a model for sustainability. PlantScape isn't just an app; it's a movement toward sustainability, education, and community collaboration. This eco-innovative project equips users with the technology to identify various plant species at the touch of a button. PlantScape leverages the power of image recognition, providing immediate plant identification and information, which is then integrated into a live, growing database. It encourages participation through a points and rewards system, ensuring that each contribution not only aids in achieving a greener campus but also brings personal recognition and a sense of achievement.
