Millennium Fellowship Project: MathWise
Motivated by personal challenges during their schooling, the project creator envisioned addressing the scarcity of adequate educational resources. The initiative involved crafting concise and comprehensive online math concept videos tailored for school students on YouTube. The project's mission revolved around providing accessible and quality learning materials that were notably absent during their educational journey.
From August to December 2023, the project aimed to reach a significant milestone by ensuring that a minimum of 100 school students derived value from these online math concept videos. This tangible goal underscored the project's dedication to making a meaningful impact on student's educational pursuits, utilizing the videos to enhance learning experiences and foster academic growth.
Currently, the project has made significant strides toward its objectives, with numerous students benefiting from the online math concept videos. While the initial phase is almost over, the project thrives, and its impact on students' education persists. Moving forward, the project will maintain its commitment to providing valuable resources, and efforts will persist in ensuring that more students can benefit from the educational content.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rohith Arumugam S is an aspiring Computer Science and Engineering student at Sri Sivasubramania Nadar College of Engineering. With a deep-rooted passion for education, he has naturally gravitated towards assisting fellow students, adeptly simplifying intricate concepts while fostering a supportive learning environment. Rohith's commitment to facilitating understanding and his proactive approach to aiding classmates exemplify his dedication to effective teaching. Eager to amplify his impact, he seeks the MCN fellowship as a platform to further refine his skills and broaden his horizons in making meaningful contributions to education.
