Millennium Fellowship Project: Meklit Mentors

Meklit Mentors is an exclusive mentorship program for undergraduate medical students attending in SPHMMC. It is established by a dedicated network of medical students working on their Millennium fellowship for the class of 2023. Meklit aims to establish a comprehensive mentorship program tailored to meet the needs of medical students of SPHMMC during their academic journey to provide guidance, support, and resources to foster their personal and professional growth. We envision empowering aspiring medical students and future physicians by fostering a culture of guidance, growth, and excellence. Our team is dedicated to shaping compassionate, knowledgeable, and resilient healthcare professionals, enabling them to make a lasting impact on patients' lives and the medical community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Betelhem Tadele is a 5th year medical student attending in Saint Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She is an emerging youth leader whose leadership and organizational skills are demonstrable through years of her work during her stay in campus. She is a mental health advocate, UN youth fellow of 2023, Rotaractor. Betelhem is passionate about digital health and how it can be used to transform the health care industry in Ethiopia.
