Millennium Fellowship Project: Liberated Learning
Main aim of our project is to provide effective and quality education for underprivileged students in our locality. Around 60% of grade 5 students in India did'nt have basic reading and writing skills. So we went to a few public or government-funded schools to provide students with basic reading and writing skills. After some classes we taught them some basic life skills like financial literacy etc.,
About the Millennium Fellow
Shanmuga Priya is a devoted supporter of constructive change who has a solid foundation in economics. As a potential Millennium Fellow, they look forward to working with varied colleagues in MCN to use their economic expertise to drive long-lasting changes. Shanmuga Priya hopes to use the Fellowship as a platform to catalyse concrete global change towards a more equitable future. She is eager to contribute and learn.
