Millennium Fellowship Project: Growing Green Hearts: Planting Trees, Cultivating Minds and Healing the Earth
My project aims to plant trees with the help of local schools, bringing environmental education to life for children by reforesting their local areas and combatting climate change in the process.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ruth Mburu is a Strathmore University student pursuing her Bachelor's degree in commerce. She is a strong, independent girl who wishes to bring a change by making an impact in the society through participating in this fellowship. She is motivated and enthusiastic about this fellowship and she hopes she can make the world a better place.
