Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Climate Resilience among the Youth of Sylhet, Bangladesh
“Empowering Climate Resilience focusing on the Youth of Sylhet, Bangladesh” is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Chowdhury Anika Farah, Adiba Rahman and Nahin Naznin. We will work on this project in two steps. In this project we will raise awareness on climate change by engaging students from high school by poster presentation, tree plantation etc. Then at our campus (SUST) we will arrange a workshop on climate change, focusing on the relationship between climate resilience and gender equality, how climate change and SRHR (sexual and reproductive health and rights) are connected will be stressed in our workshop connecting SDG 3 and SDG 13 and the estimated participants will be 250.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adiba Rahman is an undergraduate student of Anthropology from SUST, Bangladesh. She is exploring the world of perspectives and looking out for every opportunities to learn and grow in this ever-changing world. As a millennium fellow, she is determined to create a change along the journey with like-minded individuals.
