Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Climate Resilience among the Youth of Sylhet, Bangladesh

“Empowering Climate Resilience focusing on the Youth of Sylhet, Bangladesh” is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Chowdhury Anika Farah, Adiba Rahman and Nahin Naznin. We will work on this project in two steps. In this project we will raise awareness on climate change by engaging students from high school by poster presentation, tree plantation etc. Then at our campus (SUST) we will arrange a workshop on climate change, focusing on the relationship between climate resilience and gender equality, how climate change and SRHR (sexual and reproductive health and rights) are connected will be stressed in our workshop connecting SDG 3 and SDG 13 and the estimated participants will be 250.

Chowdhury Anika Farah is a passionate undergraduate student at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. With a deep enthusiasm for climate action initiatives, she is driven to make a positive impact on society. Her fervor for promoting societal change is evident in her dedication to meaningful contributions and her unwavering commitment to creating a better world.
