Millennium Fellowship Project: Let Education be for all
One of the most significant problems in our community is quality education. There is wide disparity in education at the primary level and the quality of education is low. So we have decided to work on SDG 4 to improve the quality of education. We are hopeful that we will be able to play a supportive role in achieving equal participation of boys and girls in education and quality of education.
About the Millennium Fellow
I'm Nazifa Nawar Eshika from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Bangladesh, pursuing a B.S.S honors in social work. I'm passionate about social impact and actively engaged with several social organizations to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During the fellowship, I worked with my team to achieve SDG 4 (quality of education). Our project is focused on sustainable development, particularly emphasizing quality education provision in rural areas in Bangladesh. We collaborated with schools. We negotiated with school faculty to arrange workshops, provide resources, and impart knowledge to children about technology use for learning and skills development.
Alumni Update: Since the Millennium Fellowship, Nazifa got involved as a Hult prize on campus champion 2024.
