Millennium Fellowship Project: The need for gender equality
I had educated the kids that; rights, responsibilities and opportunities of individuals should not depend on whether they are male or female, handicapped or able bodied, young or elderly, , or from rural or urban settings, etc.
Also informed them of the dangers of discriminating between girls and boys which have a negative effect on not just the girls both the society at large; for mothers begot the societies.
About the Millennium Fellow
He is by name James Igirah, born in a family of four, he’s the third child. He is an aspiring lawyer and presently a 500 level student of the faculty of law at Taraba State University. James Igirah is a vibrant boy from Chanchanji, southern Taraba but has spent most of his life time in northern Taraba. He from childhood enjoyed football from being an active player to now being a full time spectator, aside football, he also enjoys reading both fictional and non-fictional stories.
