About the Millennium Fellow
I'm Cheruiyot Mercy Chebet studying urban and regional planning at The Technical University of Kenya. I'm an urbanist who is really interested about transportation planning Moreso active mobility.I got enthusiastic about active mobility through my transport and traffic planning unit in campus. I really enjoyed that unit and from that I knew for sure transport planning is going to be my thing, and then looking how active mobility has really been neglected In my Country Kenya I would really like to voice out on the importance of having non-motorized road designs on our roads here in Kenya.
