Millennium Fellowship Project: SOLAR WATER DESALINATOR
I'm designing a solar water desalinator
Making a water trough using plain iron sheet and painting inside black to absorb more rays from the sun.side walls using wood to prevent wood loss. Thermal glass to allow sun rays to heat the water inside the basin and also provide a surface for fresh water to condense on. When salty water is heated moisture condenses on the surface of the glass and brine remains in the basin.
About the Millennium Fellow
Scheefer kofia is a young and energetic person with a lot of interest in green energy , currently is a final year student in Technical University of Mombasa pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics. Did his attachment at the Kipevu thermal power plant at the mantainance department. Ready and flexible to work passionately at any task given.
