Millennium Fellowship Project: Young, Tech Savvy and Rights-informed

The Young, Tech-savvy and Rights-informed project is aimed at empowering young people in rural areas with basic tech skills and an introduction to core technology fields. This is for the purpose of helping them stay technologically inclined and building the passion and potentials they have for technology.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sarah Uchenwoke is a student of English and literary studies in her penultimate year. She is passionate about leveraging the vast potentials of technology to impact young people for the development of their various communities. As a Nigerian who lived most part of her life in a suburban area of Northern Nigeria, she observed how uninformed most of the individuals in her community are about the internet and technology that could greatly help them in their daily lives. Through her project, Sarah aims to enlighten young people in her rural community about the beauty and possibilities of technology and spark a fire in their hearts that will start a wildfire of positive change in their homes and the community at large.
