Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Tabdeel

Project Tabdeel is aimed at bridging the Foundational Literacy & Numeracy gap amongst the students of MCD Government schools of Kamla Nagar, North Campus. We did need assessment surveys of children selling stationaru items on streets and markets of Kamla Nagar and identified that there is educational & learning gap of those children with respect to their age & grade. Hence, we visited their schools and discussed with the staff there about the loopholes and went on testing the current level of students from different grades. we onboarded 20+ volunteers & got them registered on vidyanjali portal which is official government portal for volunteers, then we divided the students of grade 1-5 in different groups as per results of need assessment survey and did visits to schools 4 times a week along with volunteers on alternate basis. We were able to enhance their soft skills and working on FLN skills as of now with a mix of interactive & story telling sessions to further enhance the learning process.
